NSBE Boston is partnering with Bridgewater State University’s Center for the Advancement of STEM, to provide students with insights on the various STEM opportunities that lie ahead of them. With COVID-19, we are pivoting to provide online resources to students so they can learn from diverse Professionals
About CASE:
Mission: The Center for the Advancement of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Education leverages the physical and intellectual resources of BSU to build and support a diverse community of educators and students that promotes STEM interest and literacy both regionally and internationally.
Vision: The Center for the Advancement of STEM Education strives to serve as an outstanding resource in which:
• Community members have equal and open access to STEM education resources;
• BSU students gain confidence and develop leadership skills by sharing STEM knowledge through service-learning experiences;
• Faculty and staff develop professionally as they engage BSU students and community members in STEM outreach.

NSBE Boston is looking for professionals to record videos about their STEM journeys to help educate students about the opportunities in STEM. We are looking for a wide array of experience including photonics & optical engineering. This project will include five questions about your STEM journey with gems you’ve learned along the way. Questions include- your current position, educational background, and advice you would give to up and coming students. See below for recording instructions

Disclaimer: Videos will be available on CASE’s website, nsbeboston.org, and will be used in programs with local schools to promote interest in STEM careers and STEM studies at BSU. Videos will also be used in a STEM Career Exploration program run in partnership with MassHire Greater Brockton Workforce Board.
