Interested in learning more about Amgen and pharmaceutical manufacturing? Join Amgen and NSBE Boston Professionals for a tour of Amgen’s Rhode Island Site! Attendees will have the opportunity to view two plants, network with Amgen leadership, and join Amgen’s talent network.A free shuttle will be available and will depart from Amgen’s Cambridge Site (360 Binney St, Cambridge, MA 02141) at 9:30am, please arrive between 9am and 9:15am. Shuttle sign-up will be completed during registration by selecting the “Shuttle + Site Tour” ticket.Lunch will be provided for guests.

Amgen Plant Tour Policies:

  • Shower and change of clothes required before arriving at Amgen if you recently visited an animal or waste treatment facility (this is not common)
  • Any person shown to have apparent illness or open lesions is restricted from entering the Manufacturing areas
  • Low-heel, closed-toe/heel shoes and safety glasses are required for engineering the Manufacturing areas
  • Ensure no lower extremity skin is exposed (i.e. no shorts, skirts, dresses or open-toe shoes)
  • Coats, hats, bags will be secured while touring the facility.
  • No jewelry, makeup, food, drinks, gum or photography are allowed in Manufacturing areas
  • No tobacco. Amgen is a tobacco free company
