BlackOut: Unfiltered Conversations on Black Injustice & Mental Wellness

NSBE Boston Professionals invites you to join a special presentation confronting Racial Injustices and managing Mental Wellness in the Black Community. Join us for an open dialogue led by certified Mental Health professionals and community leaders. We are in a crisis and you are not alone! This is a safe space for the Black community to unload and be rejuvenated.

PURPOSE OF THIS EVENT – A place of solace for guests to unpack and recharge mentally, as we deal with this current crisis. Certified mental health professionals will be present to moderate discussions on racial injustice, racism, police brutality and more. They will also provide answers to questions and provide practical tools to manage fear, anxiety and stress. Guests will leave the event with knowledge on how to manage emotions associated with race & injustice within our community.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Black professionals and people of color in the Boston area.

TOPICS TO BE COVERED: Black Mental Health & Wellness, dealing with COVID-19, Managing Depression & Anxiety, Resources to help the Black Community Heal from Racial Injustices, Law Enforcement and methods for Coping in the Black Community.


This event is presented by National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Boston Professionals and part of our initiatives to Positively Impact our community.
