Basic Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, document and implement quality solutions, while employing best practices for AWS architectures, security, and DevSecOps
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the delivery and quality of code your team produces.
  • Liaise with stakeholders for estimation, risk-evaluation, and planning of short- and long- term deliverables
  • Explain the why, how, and what, that makes the solution technically sound, provide constructive feedback regarding best practices, performance, and maintainability
  • Stay ahead of the curve with respect to new technologies and techniques with an eye towards continual improvement of both the team’s skill set and the product goals
  • Engage with engineering management to drive team development and plan for team growth

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in delivering complex large-scale software applications
  • 5+ years’ experience leading multiple teams to deliver cloud-based software solutions

Other Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS S3, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift, QuickSight, NeptuneDB, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Cognito
  • Experience with .NET Core and C#
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, including Docker, Kubernetes, and DataDog
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS certification
  • Experience with Angular 10+
  • Knowledge and experience with application servers, n-tier applications, database management systems and open-source trends
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) process and tools
  • Domain knowledge of chromatography
