BOSTON, MA – NSBE Boston is pleased to announce a one-year Silver Level corporate partnership with iRobot, a leader in consumer robots and maker of the Roomba® robot vacuum.
Headquartered in Bedford, Massachusetts, iRobot is committed to STEM education and fostering a diverse workforce. The partnership with NSBE Boston will further strengthen the company’s efforts to educate students and create career and professional development opportunities for minorities in STEM.

Through this partnership, iRobot will provide support to NSBE Boston at the Silver sponsorship level. Through this sponsorship, the firm will collaborate on 2020/2021 STEM initiatives with professional & career development programs aimed at both professionals and students, mentoring and community engagement programs.

With more than 30 years of providing channels of opportunity for academic and career advancement to the Black/African American communities in Massachusetts, NSBE Boston has a membership of Black Professionals spanning the New England area.
To kick off this partnership, iRobot donated 15 Root coding robots to Brockton Elementary and Middle School students for their STEM programming.
NSBE Boston will host a public professional development session in Summer 2021.
