NSBE Boston’s “Torch Awards” returns for the 2nd year on June 8th!
Launched in 2016, the Torch Awards aims to celebrate our commitment to advancing the NSBE Mission and impacting the community. Awards to be presented this year include Professional Achiever of the Year, Professional Member of the Year, Community Achievement Partner, Employee Resource Group of the Year and Collegiate Scholarships presented to our 2017 finalists. This event is sponsored by our Diamond Level – Community Achievement Partners, and they are Partners Healthcare System, Bentley University & Lyft.

Professional Achiever of the Year  – nomination link 
This award recognizes NSBE Boston Professionals that have displayed high levels of academic excellence or are making strides in their professional careers. This individual is an active NSBE Boston Professional that has demonstrated commitment to excellence in the last 12 months, with either professional or academic achievements, such as – new emploment, job promotions, degree programs, certifications, community outreach engagement & other career/ academic endeavors.

Professional Member of the Year Nominationnomination link
This is the highest honor handed to a member. This award recognizes NSBE Boston Professionals that exemplify the core of the NSBE mission. This individual is an active NSBE Boston Professional that has fulfilled the NSBE mission, by showing commitment to academic and professional success, as well as positively impacting the community through involvement in chapter initiatives.
Members should nominate themselves or fellow NSBE Boston Professionals that have made a notable impact in their community this past year, both inside of the NSBE Boston Professionals chapter and outside.

Winners will be announced at the Torch Awards ceremony on June 8th.
