NSBE Boston Professionals increases the number of Black engineers who excel academically, lead with cultural responsibility, and create lasting community impact.
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Boston Professionals, is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the academic & professional success of Black/ African American engineering students and professionals. Founded in 1988 as the Boston “Alumni Extension”, NSBE Boston offers professional development & career advancement opportunities to it’s members.With a growing membership of Black STEM professionals, NSBE Boston supports to NSBE college chapters and impacts over 250 students (K-12) annually through our “Be 1 of 10,000 Black Engineers” campaign, aimed at increasing access to resources & diversity in STEM.

We equip professionals with the tools to advance their careers through networking, workshops, and leadership opportunities. From technical upskilling to executive mentorship, we help our members grow, lead, and excel in their industries.

We bridge the gap between college and career by supporting Boston-area NSBE student chapters with mentorship, scholarships, and industry connections. Our goal is to help students succeed academically and launch strong professional futures.
